So finally TVF the very famous entertained company has rolled out its new web series Panchayat. This web series is live now on Amazon Prime Video. Leaving its very famous in-trend metro city based web series TVF has now headed towards the villages of India. So let’s talk about the whole plot of the web series. It is a total eight-episode web series.

Panchayat Review

Panchayat is a story based around a guy who straight out from his college has landed into a government job. This job is of a panchayat sachiv in the village named Phulera in Uttar Pradesh, this job pays him Rs. 20,000/month. There are many challenges for him in the village. Just like any other Indian village Phulera also has some basic problems like electricity, management, etc.

Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) is the Gram Pradhan but Brij Bhushan (Raghubir Yadav) the Pradhan Pati is the real Pradhan. All the powers of a Gram Pradhan are enjoyed by the Pradhan Pati.

Panchayat tries to take us through a ride of a real Indian village. There are all the elements in the village that makes it a village-like lack of social reforms, electricity cutoffs, and mismanagement. Yes, of course, there is a rivalry. But not like something we have seen in Gangs of Wasseypur. It is just to give a comic tadka to the whole plot.

There is nothing like dramatic shots in the web series. But it is more like a normal daily life filled with some ups and downs. After 2 episodes you will start understanding what Panchayat is trying to deliver.
